WHICH IS THE BEST LED FOR ME?
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode – a light source that emits energy across the spectrum at different wavelengths (colours), and penetrates through different layers of your skin depending on the desired result (eg, reduce inflammation, restoring fullness and elasticity, treating infections). Our skin has the ability to absorb light and use it as a source of energy to stimulate a healing response. This is a natural biochemical reaction, similar to photosynthesis in plants. In fact, LED therapy was originally developed for NASA plant growth experiments in space! This is why LED therapy has been so widely studied. In skin, light therapy energises cells to produce collagen, improve elasticity, increase blood circulation and oxygen flow, and to release toxins. This healing response continues even after treatment.
How can LED light therapy help my skin?
LED light therapy is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects of LED therapy may be used to help:

Is LED light therapy safe?
Yes. LED is a gentle, non-invasive treatment. It is completely heat and pain-free. Because LED does not use harmful ultraviolet wavelengths, it cannot damage skin tissue. Clinical studies and our professional experience have shown no risk of short or long-term side effects.
What does an LED treatment involve? Treatment with LED involves simply relaxing for 20–60 minutes under the light or combination of lights.
We can also remove solar keratosis, BCC’s and other skin lesions with a topical cream applied to the affected area and then the light will be used to activate the cream. It will take about 7 days for the skin lesion to disappear but you may need a follow up treatment. POA
